100Thieves is the Valorant Esports World Cup 2026 champions after defeating NRG 3-1 in the Grand Final. Well, this is their first-ever international Valorant trophy after completing an undefeated run at the Esports World Cup 2026.
In the playoffs, 100 Thieves kicked off their championship run by defeating MIBR (2-1) in the quarterfinals. They then defeated Nongshim RedForce in the semifinals by a score of 2-1 before beating NRG in the Grand Final to lift the Valorant Esports World Cup 2026 trophy.
The best-of-5 starts on Breeze, which was NRG's map pick. 100T dominated the first half with a 9-3 lead. NRG mounted a strong comeback after the side switch, securing some back-to-back rounds to close it to 7-12.
However, NRG's comeback fell short in the final round as they attempted to execute onto the B site, where Cryo (was on Cypher) and Vora (was on Sova) were on the site, while Asuna (on Phoenix) and Timontio (on Jett) rotated in from Mid to take down the players one by one.
The second map was Sunset, a pick from 100T, where they again dominated the first half with a 9-3 lead. NRG managed to close the gap to 6-12 after the side switch, but again they fell short. After getting a successful Spike plant on the B site, NRG quickly lost all their players except Ethan, who was playing Neon. Asuna played a huge role here, killing three players and eventually closing the second map.

The third map was Haven, which was NRG's second map pick. NRG dominated the first half of the map, taking a 10-2 lead. After the side switch, they won the pistol round and made it to 11-2.
Although 100T opted for a force buy in the following round, they could not stand against them, and this score went to 12-2. NRG eventually closed the map to stay alive in the series.
The fourth map was Ascent, the second map pick from 100T. NRG once again dominated the first half, taking a 9-3 lead. At this point, many believed that NRG had all the momentum and would take it to the deciding fifth map, which was Split. But 100Thieves had some other plans in mind. They started the second half by winning the pistol round with a unique setup.
Timotino was left alone to hold B main while the rest of the team stacked A. Although the gamble stack didn't pay off, Timotino dealt heavy damage to two players, which helped the rest of 100 Thieves to retake the site quite easily and clean up the remaining NRG members while defusing the Spike on time.
After that, 100T secured back-to-back rounds and made it to a 10-10 score. In the following round, Timotino found two opening kills onto Brawk and Keiko, but NRG unfortunately punished the rest of the players' aggressive push to regain the lead at 11-10. In the next round, Mada somehow caught two players flanking from A tree with that 3v5 advantage; they secured that round and reached 12-10.

However, just when it looked like the series was headed to a fifth map, 100 Thieves turned things around once again. Led by Cryo's strong Cypher setup on A site, they won the next two rounds, and this went to overtime. During overtime, 100T, while attacking, flawlessly executed the A site and secured the round. Switching to defense, the deciding round showcased quite an unexpected move by Asuna.
After NRG picked Trmotino through smoke, they executed to the B site where Asuna and Vora were holding the B bomb site. Asuna secured two quick kills of Ethan and mada, killed Skuba on the stairs too, which led to a 2v2 situation. Bang then landed a clean headshot on Keiko, who was holding the radianite boxes, and Cryo killed the last player, Brawk, to finally secure the championship.
