WWE SummerSlam 2026 is less than a week away as of this writing. The creative team has seemingly finalized the match card for The Biggest Party of the Summer. However, the company could still go all out and add more bouts to the show to attract fans.

SummerSlam 2026 is set to feature multiple main events. From Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell to CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, the show has something for everyone. A massive ladder match is also set to take place to crown the Interim WWE Women's Champion. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are gearing up to write the final chapter of their storied feud.

The Biggest Party of the Summer will be a two-night event this year. However, some deserving stars who are involved in compelling storylines are still set to miss the spectacle. While WWE is known for curating compact match cards under Triple H's creative leadership, it could ditch the approach for the Minneapolis show.

Tonight, WWE will present the go-home edition of RAW before SummerSlam 2026 at the Intuit Dome. It is widely expected to be a star-studded show featuring several major developments. The company could add some more matches to the upcoming premium live event's match card on the red show.

In this article, we will discuss three last-minute matches WWE could add to SummerSlam 2026 on RAW.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria seemed inseparable at one point on WWE TV. They fought several top tag teams together and supported each other in their singles careers. Despite having a strong bond and remarkable chemistry as tag team partners, the duo failed to win the Women's Tag Team Championship on many occasions.

During their time together, Bayley and Valkyria consistently lost high-profile matches, including suffering defeat at WrestleMania 42. The two superstars didn't find success as singles competitors either. However, they refused to leave each other's side until recently.

On the June 22 edition of RAW in London, Lyra Valkyria and The Role Model challenged Paige and Brie Bella for the Women's Tag Team Championship. The Irishwoman suffered the deciding pinfall, and the loss didn't sit well with her. She shockingly betrayed the WWE Grand Slam Champion after the contest. Valkyria launched a barbaric attack on the veteran, marking the end of their alliance.

Bayley gave her friend-turned-rival a chance to mend fences and apologize for her actions. In response, the former Women's Intercontinental Champion insulted The Role Model and undermined her career achievements.

The duo collided in a much-awaited grudge match at Saturday Night's Main Event XLV in New York City. Valkyria defeated Bayley on the show and attempted to injure her severely. Many felt WWE booked the angle to write The Role Model off TV ahead of her rumored departure from the company.

Despite being hurt as part of the storyline, Bayley returned to the squared circle as part of WWE's latest series of house shows. She worked with Valkyria and continued firing shots at her, suggesting the creative team has yet to wrap up the rivalry.

The feud between the former teammates has reached its boiling point. Fans are invested in the program and want to see the duo square off in a rematch. Therefore, WWE could add Bayley vs. Valkyria II to the SummerSlam 2026 card tonight on RAW.

Maxxine Dupri recently helped The Vision win the World Tag Team Championship back from The Street Profits on RAW (July 6). She unexpectedly delivered a low blow to Angelo Dawkins and turned heel in the process. Dupri is now in an on-screen relationship with Austin Theory and an official member of the heel faction.

The former Women's Intercontinental Champion's longtime allies, Otis and Akira Tozawa, are displeased with the change in her demeanor. Otis recently tried to express his feelings for Maxxine Dupri. However, Theory made fun of him and attacked him alongside his Vision teammates. Shockingly, Dupri seemed pleased with the development.

On tonight's RAW, Alpha Academy will take on Bron Breakker and Austin Theory in a tag team match. Given the animosity between the two sides, the feud is unlikely to reach its conclusion on the red show. WWE might have booked the bout to lay the foundation for a blockbuster World Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam 2026.

Otis and Akira Tozawa could pull off a massive upset on tonight's program. If they defeat The Vision, they could earn a title shot at The Biggest Party of the Summer. There's an insane amount of hype surrounding Dupri's involvement with The Vision and her relationship with Otis. Hence, the creative team could pit the two teams against each other at the last minute in Minneapolis.

Becky Lynch regained the Women's Intercontinental Championship from AJ Lee at WrestleMania 42. However, her title reign didn't last long. At Clash in Italy, Sol Ruca shockingly dethroned her in a 14-minute back-and-forth title bout. Following the loss, The Man failed to win the 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament.

Lynch currently doesn't have a match for SummerSlam 2026. Meanwhile, Ruca is set to defend her Women's Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez on tonight's RAW. If the upstart defeats Big Mami Cool on the show, she could be confronted by the Irish veteran.

The Man is among the biggest female superstars in WWE today. Hence, the company might not want to keep her on the sidelines for a huge show like SummerSlam 2026. She could appear on RAW tonight and challenge Ruca to a title match in Minneapolis.
