The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has expanded the list of metro stations closed due to security reasons, with 16 stations across Central Delhi now shut until further instructions.

According to the latest service update issued by the DMRC, the following stations have been closed: Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhambha Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh and Shivaji Stadium.

The DMRC said that while entry and exit at these stations remain suspended, interchange facilities will continue to be available at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat.
