That could easily be turned into a storyline. Roman Reigns would have every reason to confront McGregor if he showed up in the global juggernaut. The company would not need much time to build the feud because the first shots have already been fired.
A move to the Stamford-based promotion is much easier than it would have been a few years ago. Both WWE and UFC are now owned by TKO Group Holdings. That means the two companies operate under the same corporate umbrella.
The shared ownership could make a crossover much simpler. In the past, there were more hurdles when it came to bringing UFC fighters into WWE. Now, both brands are part of the same company, making a special appearance or even a longer run much easier to arrange.
There is also plenty of precedent. Several former UFC fighters have successfully made the move to WWE over the years. If Conor McGregor decides to step into a pro wrestling ring, the path is already there.
Conor McGregor would not have to rely only on his in-ring ability to succeed in WWE. Promos are a major part of professional wrestling, and that is one of McGregor's biggest strengths. He has built his career on confidence, trash talk, and selling his fights better than almost anyone else in combat sports.
That would translate well to WWE. McGregor knows how to get a reaction from the crowd and keep fans invested in a rivalry. He also has the personality to hold his own against some of the company's best talkers.
