With the new Level cap for Palworld now set to 80, there are several new weapons you can unlock in your journey through Palpagos. The update also increased the number of weapons you can equip at once to 5, giving you more options in boss battles. However, if you’re planning to challenge hard-mode bosses, you’ll need the ones that can deal maximum damage.
With so many weapons to choose from, things can get confusing. That’s why we’ve made a list of the seven best weapons in Palworld 1.0 that’ll help you take down every boss in the game. With the expanded arsenal, you can have five of them equipped at once and two in reserve.
As with any other survival game, the difficulty in Palworld increases as you progress. Naturally, the weapons you unlocked early can’t compete with the new ones. While some can still perform well, this list features the best weapons you want to get for all endgame content:
The Rocket Launcher taught us that shooting explosive projectiles is fun, and the Tactical Grenade Launcher takes it up a notch. It can fire 12 shots back-to-back and reload the entire magazine in a few seconds for minimal DPS loss. The weapon is available at Level 72 and requires five Technology Points to unlock. You’ll also need the Tactical Grenade Launcher Ammo in the same row to actually use the weapon.
Despite the fancy name, Beam Scatter is a highly advanced shotgun. It fires multiple projectiles and is the best close-range weapon for endgame content in Palworld. Do note that at greater distances, you’ll face more beam spread, leading to missed shots on top of damage falloff. You can unlock it at Level 75 for five Tech Points, along with its ammo drum for two more points.
Drone Launcher deploys up to 9 floating projectiles around you that seek out enemies and deal damage. The best part is that you can swap weapons and deal damage with them. Yes, it’s like Terraprisma. No, you can’t use it alongside the Terraprisma. The Drone Launcher is available at Level 77 for 4 Tech points, and it doesn’t require ammo because it’s a melee weapon.
On paper, the Mechanical Bow may not look like a DPS powerhouse because it's a single-shot weapon. However, the damage is quite surprising, and it may be the best endgame weapon in Palworld for the damage it deals on every shot, with minimum falloff against ranged targets. Another thing to note is that the Mechanical Bow is the earliest weapon on the list, available at Level 67 for four Technology Points.
If there’s one thing video games have taught us, it’s that Shotguns are the best weapons in close range. The same applies to the Prototype Shotgun available at Level 69. If you’re aiming for the Beam Scatter, this weapon will keep you entertained and even help you take down bosses throughout your leveling journey. It holds 20 shots in a magazine, which is more than enough to take down some of the strongest Pals in the game.
The Plasma Rifle is the best crowd control weapon on this list. While it works as any other single-target weapon, the magic happens when you intentionally miss your shots. If you fire the Plasma Rifle near enemies, the bullets will ricochet and hit everyone in the area. The damage it does is split depending on the number, but it still deals a significant amount of damage. To unlock this weapon, you will need to reach Level 78 and spend five points on the Tech Tree.
If you’re not a fan of the Shotgun, but still want something close range, the Combat SMG is your weapon. It can empty its magazine in almost an instant and reload even more quickly for another round. When it comes to damage, it is similar to shotguns, so there’s no real harm in having both at once. The weapon unlocks at Level 68, right after the Mechanical Bow.
