As many as 7,237 cases pending before different courts in Yadgir district have been settled during Saturday’s National Lok Adalat.

    A total of 11 benches were established for the Lok Adalat where litigant public and advocates representing them were present before judges. They took part in the settlement process of their cases, a release said.

    As many as 80 cases, including 36 pre-litigation ones, have been settled before the Principal District and Sessions Judge in Yadgir, followed by 50 cases before the First Additional District and Sessions Judge in Yadgir and nine cases that have been settled before the Second Additional District and Sessions Judge sitting at Shorapur.

    A total of 327 cases before the Senior Civil Judge in Yadgir, 909 cases before the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC in Yadgir, 1,019 cases before the Additional Civil Judge and JMFC in Yadgir, 588 cases before the Civil Judge at Shahapur, 1,367 cases before the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC at Shahapur, 1,020 cases before the Additional Civil Judge and JMFC at Shahapur, 271 cases before the Civil Judge at Shorapur, 956 cases before the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC at Shorapur and 685 cases before the Additional Civil Judge and JMFC at Shorapur have been settled.
