Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has reportedly become the latest celebrity to receive an alleged threat linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after Salman Khan. This happened just days after the actor married entrepreneur and fashion stylist Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony in Mumbai. According to sources, Mumbai Police are currently verifying the authenticity of the threat, while no official complaint has been filed by the actor or his team so far.

The alleged threat surfaced through a social media post and an accompanying voice note that were reportedly circulated online. The messages have been attributed to gang members identified as Aarzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi. Authorities are examining the material as part of their preliminary verification process.

According to a TOI report, the social media post contained serious allegations against Aamir Khan and others. The gang reportedly accused the actor of promoting what it described as "love jihad" and used hostile language while issuing threats.

The post allegedly warned that such actions would not be tolerated and included violent remarks directed at those the gang accused of spreading such ideas. The audio clip, which is also being examined by investigators, was reportedly shared alongside the online post.

Investigators are looking into whether the messages are genuine and whether they were actually issued by individuals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai Police verifying claims; no FIR yet

Sources said Mumbai Police received information about the alleged threat through Facebook and a voice note. Officials are currently verifying the authenticity of both before deciding on the next course of action.

As of now, police sources said neither Aamir Khan nor any member of his team has approached the authorities with a formal complaint. Since no complaint has been filed, an FIR has not been registered in the matter.

According to sources, a criminal case could be registered if the actor or his representatives decide to submit an official complaint. Until then, the police are treating the matter as part of an ongoing verification process. Officials have not publicly confirmed the authenticity of the social media post or the audio recording, and investigations are continuing.

Apart from targeting Aamir Khan, the alleged post also referred to a recent crime involving a young girl in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

According to reports, the message praised the local administration's handling of the case but also issued threats against politicians whom the gang alleged were protecting some of the accused. The post reportedly warned that anyone attempting to shield those responsible would face violent consequences.

Investigators are also examining this part of the message as part of their inquiry into the overall communication.

The reported threat comes shortly after a major personal milestone in Aamir Khan's life. The actor married longtime partner, entrepreneur and fashion stylist Gauri Spratt, in an intimate ceremony held in Mumbai on July 5, 2026. The wedding was attended by close family members and friends.
