WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce called out Gunther ahead of SummerSlam 2026. Gunther was involved in a massive tag team match at Saturday Night's Main Event over the weekend.

Pearce took to social media today to preview tomorrow night's episode of RAW. The veteran announced that Seth Rollins would be kicking off the show and that LA Knight would be squaring off against Jacob Fatu in a singles match.

At the end of the video, Pearce brought up Nick Aldis' ongoing rivalry with the 38-year-old. It was confirmed during the SummerSlam Kickoff Show today that Aldis will be returning to action to battle The Ring General at the PLE next month.

Pearce suggested that Aldis was either going to make their job easier or more difficult by returning to the ring. The RAW GM also made sure to point out that the former World Heavyweight Champion never dared to put his hands on him.

Gunther teamed up with Sami Zayn to battle CM Punk and Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event. Nick Aldis interfered in the match to cost his rival. If The Ring General and Sami Zayn had won the match, they would have been added to the Undisputed WWE Championship bout at SummerSlam.

Chad Gable recently named Gunther as his wrestling soulmate. Gable won a Gauntlet Match last week on RAW and earned an Intercontinental Championship match against Penta at WWE SummerSlam.

In an interview on KFAN, Gable praised the former leader of Imperium and claimed that they had great chemistry in the ring.

It will be interesting to see if Nick Aldis can emerge victorious at WWE SummerSlam next month.
