A popular AEW star has responded to a veteran's idea to pit him against Mick Foley. The star has outright rejected the idea.
Ever since Mick Foley became All Elite, rumors of him getting back in the ring for one final match have been rampant. Names like MJF and Darby Allin have been thrown in as opponents, but ECW veteran Tommy Dreamer suggested an alternate but interesting approach. The hardcore legend stated he would love to see Foley go up against AEW star Don Callis. That said, the Invisible Hand has completely shut down the idea.
Speaking to X, Callis sent a strong message, saying he would "kick the s*it" out of Dreamer before declaring that neither Foley nor Dreamer would get to touch him, as this is not a "fantasy camp."
His post on X can be seen below:
Contrary to Tommy Dreamer's wishes of seeing Callis in the ring again, the Invisible Hand confirmed in an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp recently that he is retired. That said, Callis did not rule out a return to the squared circle if the money was right.
As of today, Don Callis remains a force to be reckoned with as the leader of the most extensive faction in AEW, the Don Callis Family. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him and his group.
