Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Monday offered prayers at the Mata Brajeshwari Temple in Kangra, seeking the deity’s blessings for the happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of the people of the state. He also prayed for Himachal Pradesh’s continued progress and public welfare.

    The Deputy Chief Minister was received by the temple priests with Vedic chants before participating in rituals conducted in accordance with traditional customs.

    After the temple visit, Agnihotri stopped at a tea stall run by Pawan Kumar within the temple premises. He interacted with Kumar, enquired about his family’s well-being and spent some time conversing with him.

    Those present on the occasion included Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Vinay Kumar, Dharampur MLA Chandrashekhar, Nalagarh MLA Hardeep Baba, former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Surender Kaku and former MLA Ajay Mahajan.
