AJ Styles recently weighed in on the prospects of AEW Champion Kenny Omega crossing over to WWE. The Phenomenal One suggested that such a move is about as unlikely as him signing on with the Tony Khan-led promotion.
After saving Mark Briscoe from MJF's post-match ambush on the July 1 edition of Dynamite, Kenny Omega called out Big Hebrew for one final AEW World Title match. Despite saying no initially, Friedman eventually agreed to put his "Triple B" on the line against The Cleaner once again the following week, but only if the latter agreed to his stipulation barring him from ever challenging for the belt again if he lost to the self-proclaimed "generational talent" for a third time.
This week on Dynamite: Beach Break, Omega defeated MJF to regain the All Elite Wrestling Men's World Championship. Fans were overjoyed with the outcome, as The Best Bout Machine is viewed by most audiences as one of AEW's most beloved performers and biggest draws. It remains to be seen what lies next for The God of Pro-Wrestling en route to Redemption 2026.
Elsewhere on the same podcast, AJ Styles explained why he is supportive of All Elite Wrestling as a business. The former WWE Champion talked about how the budding promotion is putting on a unique and different product every week, and voiced his opposition to tribalistic and unproductive criticism, stating:
Interestingly, in prior interviews, Kenny Omega has spoken about the role Styles has played behind the foundation of All Elite Wrestling.
