Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced features a wide variety of collectibles that reward you for exploring the game world. One of them is Portraits, which are eleven items required to unlock a Legendary Outfit, a Legendary Weapon, and an achievement.
While some of these collectibles can be gathered through exploration, others only become available after you progress through specific main or side quests.

As mentioned earlier, there are a total of eleven portraits to collect in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Below are the locations of each one.
Julien Du Casse's Portrait becomes available after you complete the A Single Madman side quest. Once you meet this requirement, head to the Great Inagua Manor at (827, 443). You will find the portrait inside the entrance hall.
Laurens Prins' Portrait can be collected after completing the Unmanned main mission. First, head to Laurens Prins' Manor in Kingston at (594, 174). After that, enter the room through the rightmost window to collect the portrait.
After reaching the Commodore Eighty-Sixed main mission, head to Commodore Chamberlaine's residence in Nassau at (589, 757). Climb to the roof, descend to the second floor, and enter through the window to find the portrait.
Blackbeard's Portrait is obtained by completing the Blackbeard's Treasure side quest. The quest becomes available after completing the Do Not Go Gently main mission.
Stede Bonnet's Portrait is unlocked after completing The Captain Stede Bonnet side quest. Additionally, this mission becomes available once you finish the Marooned main mission.
You can collect Ben Hornigold's Portrait during the Murder and Mayhem main mission. After destroying Hornigold's ship, enter the wreck and collect the portrait near the cabin entrance at (191, 223).
Robert Maynard's Portrait becomes available after completing the A World Without Gold mission. Once you fulfil the requirement, fast travel to the church in Port Royal at (602, 134). The portrait is placed in its front.
After completing the A Governor No Longer quest, head to Woodes Rogers' Manor in Kingston at (618, 171). The portrait is near the entrance inside the hallway.
Complete the Royal Misfortune main mission, then travel to Principe. Now, head to the eastern viewpoint and enter the enemy tent at (113, 20) to collect the portrait.
Laureano de Torres' Portrait becomes available only after completing the Tainted Blood main mission. Once you do so, head to the northeast tower of the fort in Havana at (224, 595). Now, move to the edge near the turret, drop through the open window below, and collect the portrait inside.
El Tiburon's Portrait also becomes available after the Tainted Blood mission. First, head to the northwest tower of the fort in Havana at (204, 608). Next, use the wooden scaffolding on the northern side to reach the opening, then enter and collect the portrait.
Collecting all 11 portraits in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced rewards you with Haytham Kenway's Overcoat Legendary outfit and a Treasure Map that leads to The Fortune Legendary weapon. To claim both rewards, mount all the portraits inside the Great Inagua Manor. Completing the collection also unlocks The Memory of My Enemy trophy.
