Barcelona will begin its pre-season preparations on Friday with a friendly match against fellow Catalan club CE Europa.
The La Liga champion will be without a lot of its star players, who featured in Spain’s FIFA World Cup triumph over Argentina earlier this week.
However, head coach Hansi Flick will have some first-team names at his disposal, the players who did not feature in the World Cup.
Barcelona: Szczęsny; Fort, Araújo, Martín, Balde; Bernal, Casadó, Espart; Kluivert, T. Fernández, Bardghji.
CE Europa: Ruiz; Padillo, Sgrò, Cano, Campeny; Vacas, Anglès; Nemoto, Gallastegui, El Mokhles; Noureddine.
The friendly match between Barcelona vs CE Europa will be played at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the club’s training ground. The match will kick-off at 7 p.m. BST or 11:30 p.m. IST.
Since the game is being played behind closed doors, there will be no live streaming of the match. Fans can follow the social media accounts of Barcelona to check the score.
