Bayley took on Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night's Main Event, just weeks after her former friend turned on her.

While the news following the match centered around Lyra's nose, it seems that she wasn't the only star to suffer an injury, since Bayley recently shared an update where she was able to reveal that she had injured her face as well.

It appears that this happened in the closing moments of the match, but Bayley was still able to appear at Fanatics Fest yesterday alongside AJ Lee and Paige.

The former champion is also expected to be on WWE RAW later tonight, but it's unclear if the story with Valkyria has now come to an end.

The former Women's Champion has had a tough few months in WWE, and it seems that fans want the company to push her more.

While this was a massive loss for her at Saturday Night's Main Event, it could be something huge for Lyra Valkyria if she is hoping to find her feet with this new side of her character.

On the flip side, Bayley doesn't need to remain on RAW; there could be a place for her on SmackDown instead. It seems that she has reached a crossroads in her career, and now she is at her lowest; she can start to build towards a comeback.
