Bayley didn't have the best time at Saturday Night's Main Event. She was going into the bout to face her best friend turned rival, after Lyra Valkyria had a breakdown and betrayed her, blaming the veteran for her lack of success. On top of that, at the end of the match, the star had an unfortunate wardrobe mishap that led to WWE cutting away from the moment.

Bayley had a very unfortunate sequence at the end of the WWE match against Lyra Valkyria. After she had already lost the match and was preparing to exit and make her way to the back, Valkyria attacked her.

The star, weakened from being put in a sleeper hold previously, was in no position to resist the attack and was far from her best. This match was supposed to end their rivalry, but Valkyria was looking to end her completely, hitting Nightwing on the steel steps on the outside. This took her out, but also had unintended consequences, as the star was hanging upside down. Valkyria tried to kick her face but hit her top instead, causing a mishap as the top moved enough for a wardrobe issue to take place. The WWE cameras cut away and followed Valkyria instead, returning later, when the issue had been adjusted.

Valkyria and Bayley worked together for the last year, often coming close, but never really hitting that final spot where they won the biggest titles. Every time they got the opportunity, they fell short, and this grated on Lyra Valkyria's nerves. She felt that the veteran was holding her back, and so after the latest failure, she turned on her, suffering a breakdown. Since then, she has appeared unkempt and far from her usual self. Tonight, she defeated her friend and appeared to write her off as well with an attack after the match.
