Benoit Saint Denis finally spoke out on social media after his brutal loss at UFC 329. The Frenchman came into his fight against Paddy Pimblett riding a four-fight winning streak and was expected to give the British star a tough test.
However, the fight barely lasted a minute. Saint Denis went for a takedown on Pimblett early on, but the British star was able to put a submission on the Frenchman.
Saint Denis was unable to get out of the hold and was left unconscious in under a minute. The Frenchman had no idea of what had happened when he regained his senses, while Pimblett was left to celebrate a huge win after a brutal loss to Justin Gaethje in his previous fight.
Saint Denis posted a message in French on Instagram. The message (translated via Google) apologized to his fans for letting them down before promising to come back stronger:

While the defeat must have been hard to take for Saint Denis, Pimblett was on cloud nine after the win and made some interesting callouts on who he wants to fight next.
Paddy Pimblett’s loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 felt like a huge stumbling block in his career. A win over Gaethje would have led him to fight Ilia Topuria for the lightweight title, but it was not to be.
However, Gaethje’s shock win over Topuria at UFC Freedom 250 and Pimblett’s electric performance on Saturday seem to have ignited a fire in the British star.
While speaking to Joe Rogan during the post-fight segment, Pimblett called out nearly everyone and was willing to fight anyone:
