New Delhi: The long-standing rivalry between Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde is set to grab attention once again, this time on Lock Upp. A newly released promo of the reality show features Hina entering the house as a special guest, where she does not hold back while reacting to Shilpa’s conduct. Their face-off comes nearly nine years after their much-talked-about clashes in Bigg Boss 11.
In the upcoming Judgement Day episode, Hina Khan and Uorfi Javed enter the house as Janta Ki Awaaz and interact with the contestants who have been marked unsafe. They question Harshad Chopda, Shilpa Shinde, Varun Yadav aka Laila, Pamala Serena and Sufi Motiwala about the game.
When Uorfi asks the contestants to name the most dangerous inmate, many point towards Shilpa Shinde. Explaining his choice, Harshad says, “Aise aise remarks maarengi ki insaan provoke hi hojaaye.”
Reacting to his statement, Hina remarks, “That’s Shilpa Shinde, ladies and gentlemen.”
As the conversation continues, Shilpa asks whether everyone is scared of her. Hina responds, “You guys need training on whom to be afraid of and whom not to fear in life.” She further advises the contestants, “Aap sab seedhe bankar kisi aur ko par chadha rahe hain. Voh agar king hain to aap kingmakers. Don’t serve everything on a platter.”
Meanwhile, Apoorva Mukhija, who recently joined Lock Upp as an informer for a week, is seen encouraging a face-off between the two former Bigg Boss contestants.
Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde were among the biggest rivals in Bigg Boss 11. Throughout the season, the duo frequently locked horns over household responsibilities, game strategies, personal comments and leadership inside the house. Shilpa eventually lifted the trophy, while Hina finished as the runner-up.
The rivalry resurfaced recently after Shilpa claimed she had filed a false sexual harassment complaint against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli. Hina later criticised her on social media and sought strict action over the matter.
Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp features contestants including Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopda, Shreya Kalra, Akanksha Chamola, Pamala Serena and others. The reality show streams on Netflix from Saturday to Thursday at 8 pm, with the winner set to receive a cash prize of Rs 1 crore.
