The Punjab BJP has appointed 16 district presidents. The party’s national president Nitin Nabhin cleared the list prepared by the Punjab unit under leadership of its chief Kewal Singh Dhillon. Top party leaders said preparations were in full swing for the elections early next year.

The list includes names of Ashok Sarin Hicky (Jalandhar Urban), Manmeet Singh Micky (Jalandhar Rural), Jagbir Singh Brar (Jalandhar Rural South), Chetan Suri (Kapurthala), Sunil Moudgil (Ludhiana Urban), Satish Thakur Bawa (Hoshiarpur Urban), Yogesh Sapra (Hoshiarpur Rural), Kanwar Bir Singh Manzil (Amritsar Rural II) and Salil Kapoor (Amritsar Urban).
