New Delhi: On Sunday (July 19), several films running in theatres currently maintained their momentum while Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey leads the collection, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark at the ticket window. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 continued its strong hold on its day 10, while Lenin and Welcome To The Jungle slowed down at the box office.

    Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey continued its impressive run at the Indian box office on its Sunday. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 17 crore in India on its first Sunday despite witnessing a slight dip of 0.5 per cent from its Saturday earnings. The film collected Rs 21 crore net in India across 9,195 shows, bringing the total India gross collection to Rs 73.19 crore and total net collection to Rs 61.30 crore.

    The film has now crossed the Rs 50 crore net mark in just a three-day run in theatres in India. The film minted Rs 17.40 crore on its opening day and Rs 22 crore on its Day 2 in India.

    The film’s overseas collection now stands at Rs 1,350 crore, while its worldwide collection is Rs 2,550 crore.

    Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 witnessed another strong Sunday at the ticket window. As per Sacnilk, the comedy entertainer collected a net of Rs 12.75 crore across 8,712 shows on Day 10. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 148.40 crore and total India net collections to Rs 124.50 crore so far.

    Overseas, the film collected Rs 1.25 crore on Day 10, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 21.50 crore so far. This pushes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 169.90 crore.

    Lenin maintained a steady hold on its second Sunday. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs, Lenin collected a net of Rs 3.22 crore across 1,865 shows. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 50.40 crore and total India net collections to Rs 43.92 crore so far.

    Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 10.20 crore in gross collections, pushing its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 60.60 crore. 

    Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle continued to attract audiences on Day 24. As per Sacnilk ,the film Welcome to the Jungle (Welcome 3) collected a net of Rs 0.55 crore across 718 shows. This brings total India gross collections to Rs 158.02 crore and total India net collections to Rs 133.00 crore so far.

    Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 33.60 crore in gross collections, pushing its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 191.62 crore.
