Brandon Aiyuk has taken his feud against the San Francisco 49ers to another level. On Saturday, the embattled All-Pro wide receiver posted a series of Instagram stories aimed at the San Francisco 49ers, his coaches, and his teammates.

In one of the stories, Aiyuk appeared to take a dig at Christian McCaffrey by seemingly alluding to the star running back's fumble on the opening drive of Super Bowl LVIII.

McCaffrey led the 49ers to the Chiefs' 30-yard-line on the opening possession of the Super Bowl, but fumbled on the next play, giving Kansas City the ball on its own 27-yard line. The Chiefs ended up winning the game 25-22.

In a previous post, Aiyuk also called out an alleged "smear campaign" against him after he expressed his interest in joining the Washington Commanders.

Some hours later, he claimed that head coach Kyle Shanahan wanted him back on the roster -- albeit as more of a decoy than an actual pass-catcher.

Aiyuk, however, insisted that he would not play a snap with the 49ers ever again.

There are two major reasons why Brandon Aiyuk wants to be a Commander: quarterback Jayden Daniels, who was his teammate at Arizona State in 2019; and general manager Adam Peters, who was the 49ers' assistant GM when he was drafted in 2020.

However, his recent comments towards Daniels may have ended his slim prospects of donning the burgundy and gold, a notion that former wideout T.J. Houshmandzadeh subscribed to on "Speakeasy" (from 1:07:45 in the video below):

Aiyuk has not played since blowing out his knee against the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2024.
