Alexa Bliss suffered a horrifying moment on WWE SmackDown tonight after her match against Jade Cargill was already over. Wade Barrett officially announced that Bliss had suffered a serious injury and that they would keep fans updated on her recovery.
Alexa Bliss faced Jade Cargill on WWE SmackDown in a big match that had Mia Yim, B-Fab, and Charlotte Flair all at ringside. While Flair did her best to give Bliss the advantage by stopping Yim and B-Fab from interfering, she was unsuccessful, and ultimately, Cargill hit her with the Jaded finishing move to pick up the win. However, it was what happened after the match that caught fans' attention.
Bliss was attacked and beaten down by Cargill. She then took things too far by using a steel chair. She put Bliss' arm inside the chair and bent it backward in a way that no arm should go. She was not done just bending it, though, as she slammed the chair into the ground, apparently breaking the arm. Wade Barrett commented on it immediately after the ringside physicians examined it, saying the arm was broken.
Outside kayfabe, the star is double-jointed, which may be why the star's arm was able to bend that way.
After the bout ended, Charlotte Flair was at her side, and with doctors on hand to help her, she was escorted to the back. The star was screaming in pain and looked visibly in pain. It seems the company has written her off TV for the moment due to this attack and injury. It's unclear what's next for her, but Charlotte Flair may have to handle the Jade Cargill situation on SmackDown by herself going forward.
