Pacer Brydon Carse was added to England’s ODI squad on Tuesday, ending a spell on the sidelines due to an injury sustained during the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League.

“Carse returns following his recovery from wrist and elbow injuries and after three matches with Durham in the Vitality Blast,” the England and Wales Cricket Board said in a statement.

Carse will be available for selection for the second and third ODIs against the visiting Indian side. The fixtures will take place on Thursday and Sunday at Cardiff and Lord’s respectively.
