    The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has invited applications for 237 Technician posts across various technical disciplines for India's first bullet train project. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NHSRCL website until August 5, 2026.

    The recruitment drive offers opportunities in multiple trades, including Civil, Electrical, Signalling & Telecom, and Rolling Stock, with selected candidates to be posted under the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project or other NHSRCL units.

    Eligibility criteria

    Candidates applying for the Technician posts must possess one of the following qualifications:
    • Matriculation/SSLC from a recognised board along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, or
    • Matriculation/SSLC with apprenticeship in the relevant trade, or
    • A three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
    Applicants must also have at least two years of experience in the Operations and Maintenance departments of:
    • Indian Railways
    • Government-owned or government-operated railways
    • Metro Rail
    • Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS)
    Candidates will be required to submit a valid experience or competency certificate. Eligibility and work experience will be assessed as on June 30, 2026.

    The maximum age limit is 35 years.

    Salary and job location
    Selected candidates will be appointed on an Absorption Basis under the NE-2 Pay Level.

    Pay scale: Rs 35,000 to Rs 1,10,000 per month
    Appointments may be made anywhere within NHSRCL or the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project, depending on organisational requirements.

    Selection process
    The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
    • Computer-Based Test (CBT)
    • Document Verification
    • Medical Examination
    The CBT for all advertised posts will be conducted on the same day and time. Candidates who qualify in all stages will undergo a medical examination before final appointment.

    Selected candidates will also be required to complete a one-year probation period.

    Application fee
    The application fee is as follows:
    • General, OBC and EWS candidates: Rs 400
    • SC, ST and women candidates: No application fee
