Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil is getting ready to reach audiences who may have missed its theatrical run. The film, which explores young love, sudden responsibilities and the complicated journey from college romance to adulthood, received a mixed response after its release. Now, viewers will get a chance to discover the story of Aarav and Chandni from the comfort of their homes.

Chand Mera Dil will premiere on JioHotstar on July 17, 2026. The digital release comes nearly two months after the film opened in theatres on May 22. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film stars Ananya Panday as Chandni Prasad and Lakshya as Aarav Rawat. The story begins with the two falling in love during their college years. However, their relationship takes an unexpected turn after Chandni becomes pregnant. The situation leads to a hurried marriage and forces the young couple to deal with responsibilities they may not have been prepared for.



The film then follows Aarav and Chandni as they try to understand their new life together. Their journey is not only about romance but also about growing up, dealing with insecurities and figuring out whether love can survive when life changes suddenly.

Vivek Soni has taken on several creative responsibilities for the film. Along with directing the romantic drama, he co-wrote the screenplay with Tushar Paranjpe. The dialogues were written by Vivek, Tushar and Akshat Ghildial.

The film's music has been composed by the popular duo Sachin-Jigar, while the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 29.09 crore in domestic net collection and ₹34.26 crore in domestic gross collection. Its overseas earnings stood at Rs 3.85 crore, taking the film's worldwide gross collection to ₹38.11 crore.
