Chhachhrauli SDM Jaspal Singh Gill held a review meeting with officials of various departments at the office of the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) in Chhachhrauli town.

During the meeting, issues related to samadhan shivirs, jan samvad, CM Window and other government schemes were discussed. Officials from Chhachhrauli and Pratap Nagar blocks attended the meeting.

Gill said that, as per government instructions, samadhan shivirs were being organised to ensure quick and effective resolution of public grievances.

He sought detailed information from officials about complaints received from different departments, pending cases and the progress made in their disposal. “Every complaint received through samadhan shivirs, jan samvad, CM Window and SMGT should be resolved on a priority basis, so that citizens can get timely benefits of the public welfare schemes of the Haryana government,” SDM Jaspal Singh Gill said.

During the meeting, the SDM laid special emphasis on preventing illegal mining and directed concerned officials to maintain close surveillance over such activities in the sub-division.

He said continuous monitoring was being carried out with the cooperation of the Irrigation Department, concerned gram panchayats and mobile teams to curb illegal mining. “The district administration, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Preeti, is committed to completely curbing illegal mining. If any person is found violating the rules, strict action will be taken against them. The administration is working with utmost seriousness and promptness to protect natural resources,” Gill said.

In view of the rainy season, he also directed flood-prone gram panchayats to remain alert and cautious.

Chhachhrauli BDPO Kartik Chauhan, Pratap Nagar BDPO Shabnam Rehlan, SDO Panchayati Raj Pratap Nagar Vinod Kumar, SDO Panchayati Raj Chhachhrauli Shiv Dayal, along with village secretaries from Pratap Nagar and Chhachhrauli blocks, were present at the meeting.
