Chief Engineer - Madurai Region, Water Resources Organisation, Public Works Department, S. Sivakumar and a team of officials from the department inspected the Mullaperiyar dam on Thursday.

The team of officials inspected the main dam, the baby dam, the gallery area and the spillways. They also inspected the seismography equipment installed on the dam site. Later, they inspected Vallakkadavu road and head sluice at Thekkady.
