Newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk was recently seen working out with another star, who recently made his return to the promotion.

The Second City Saint had been away from action since his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42. Since then, there has been speculation of Punk returning to action atleast before SummerSlam, one of the biggest PLEs of the Stamford-based promotion. That is exactly what happened, and in a much grander way than most expected.

Punk returned on RAW recently in Chicago, going up against Sami Zayn and becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion. It appears that he was quite active in maintaining his physique meanwhile, as Chad Gable's story on Instagram showed. The 40-year-old star, who himself recently returned to the active scene last month, was seen working out with Punk.

It appears that Chad Gable has big plans for his run after returning in June to the Stamford-based promotion.

Speaking on The Hot Dog, Gable explained that he was serious about being a formidable name on the roster. He said:

With how he has been training, it does not appear that he plans to slow down anytime soon in his pursuit to be one of the top names in the company.
