The Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow gets underway on July 23, with Indian athletes set to compete in events across multiple sports over the next two weeks. Here are all the events Indians will be participating on Day 1 in Glasgow.
LAWN BOWLS
04:50 PM – Women’s Pairs, Sectional Play - Section B, India vs Malta (Rupa Rani Tirkey/Pinki Singh)
06:15 PM - Men’s Singles, Sectional Play - Section D, Ryan Bester vs Putul Sonowal (IND)

India will be looking to emulate its gold and silver medal performances from 2022 in the Lawn Bowls event in Glasgow.
The Commonwealth Games 2026 will be available to live stream on the SonyLIV app. CWG 2026 will additionally be telecast live on Sony Sports Ten 2 and Sony Sports Ten 2 HD TV channels. The Games will also be aired live on the DD Sports TV channel via DD Free Dish.
