India will be looking to put up a strong showing in the Commonwealth Games 2026 beginning on July 23.
Of India’s 126-member strong athlete contingent going to the event, 14 (seven each in the men’s and women’s events) will be taking part in boxing.
Boxing was one of India’s more successful disciplines at the 2022 edition, where it won seven medals – three gold, one silver, and three bronze. However, none of the three gold medalists from 2022 will be participating this time around.
