The netball event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held between Juy 25 and August 2.

Netball, which was first introduced in the Games in 1998, is a seven-a-side sport where players pass a ball down a rectangular court to shoot at a net, similar to basketball.

According to the rules, every player must pass the ball within three seconds and no player is allowed to run with the ball in their hands. Australia won the event in 2022, while Jamaica and New Zealand clinched the silver and bronze medals respectively.

There will be no Indians participating in the netball event.
