India’s Tejas Shirse qualified for the final of the men’s 110 metre hurdles at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Tejas, who lined up in lane 7 in Heat 1, finished third with a time of 13.76 seconds, behind Jamaica’s Jerome Campbell (13.33 seconds) and England’s Samuel Bennet (13.20).
The 24-year-old’s peformance today was below his personal best effort of 13.27 seconds, but it was enough to secure his place in the finals.
The men’s 110 metre hurdles is held across two heats, where the top three from each heat qualifies for the final along with the two fastest athletes outside the top three.
The final is scheduled to take place later today at 2:15 AM on Tuesday, July 28.
