Thirty-three individuals found indulging in indecent acts at public places were held by the Cyberabad SHE Teams during a week-long enforcement drive between July 3 and July 9, while the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) registered 30 cases under the Juvenile Justice Act and Child Labour laws and rescued 146 children as part of Operation Muskaan.

    According to the Cyberabad Women and Child Safety Wing, SHE Teams conducted 114 decoy operations across the commissionerate limits. Police registered 34 petty cases against the offenders, while the remaining individuals were counselled. The SHE Teams also received 13 complaints from women through various channels.

    As part of Operation Muskaan, the Cyberabad AHTU rescued 146 children, including 144 boys and two girls, and registered 30 cases related to violations of the Juvenile Justice Act and child labour laws. Police said the rescued children were provided with the necessary support and further action was initiated in accordance with the law.

    The wing also facilitated the reunion of 21 estranged couples through family counselling centres and the Crime against Women and Children (CDEW) centres.
