Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP-Traffic) Shareen Begum on Monday (July 27, 2026) reviewed traffic regulations for the ongoing Ashada Maasam Utsavams near Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devastanam.
The DCP, along with Traffic Assistant Commissioner of Police — 1, Ramachandra Rao monitored the traffic coming to Indrakeeladri from Guntur, West Godavari, Telangana, and other places, through drones. She directed the police to take measures to avoid any inconvenience to the devotees during the Sakambari Utsavams.
The Traffic and the One Town Police reviewed traffic movement and parking at Saneeswara Temple, Seetammavari Padalu, Gaddabomma Centre, Kummaripalem and other centres. The DCP instructed the police to clear the traffic at various points atop Indrakeeladri and take steps to avoid congestions.
