Delta Electronics India has proposed establishing a state-of-the-art greenfield testing and validation facility, named ARIVAM (AI Data Center, Renewables, Integrated Micro Grid Solutions, Validated Engineering and Management Cente), at its existing campus in Krishnagiri.

    The company in a statement said the centre will focus on the design, engineering, manufacturing, and lifecycle management of sustainable AI data centres, renewable energy systems, and integrated micro grid solutions. Delta already operates a large manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri, within which an expansion is proposed as part of our ongoing presence in the region, the company said.

    A delegation from the company led by Benjamin Lin, president, and Niranjan Nayak, managing director, met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and thanked him for the continued support for its existing operations in the state. Delta requested to collaborate with the State government across Energy Infrastructure & Energy Storage, AI Data Centre Infrastructure, and Smart Manufacturing & Industrial Automation. The company said the Chief Minister assured them continued support.

    Founded in 1971 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Delta is into power and thermal management with a portfolio of IoT-based smart energy-saving solutions in the fields of data center infrastructure, microgrids, smart manufacturing, intelligent buildings, and E-mobility.
