The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has appointed Dhanraj Talampalli, president of its Cooperative Cell, as the party’s in charge for monitoring the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bidar and Yadgir districts.
According to the order issued by KPCC working president G.C. Chandrashekar, Mr. Talampalli has been tasked with overseeing the implementation of the SIR process by election officials at the booth-level in both districts.
The KPCC has also directed district and block Congress presidents and office-bearers to actively participate in the exercise by coordinating with the party’s Booth Level Agents, visiting households and extending cooperation to ensure that the revision process is carried out transparently.
