Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Visakhapatnam, Lalit Bohra, accompanied by branch officers, inspected the Ichchapuram and Palasa railway stations.

During the visit, the team reviewed the ongoing progress of station development works being executed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). The inspection included critical areas, passenger amenities, station yards, and traffic circulation arrangements.

The DRM also evaluated the potential for upgrading existing passenger facilities and explored new avenues for commercial contracts aimed at enhancing station services and commuter convenience.
