WWE SummerSlam is just around the corner, and one of the matches starting the PLE off has reportedly been revealed.

Over the last few weeks, Chad Gable has done a lot in his journey to redemption. His actions as El Grande Americano had affected his standing with the Luchadors, for which he has apologized to them since his return from injury. Gable recently won the WWE Intercontinental Title Number One Contendership Gauntlet match, earning a shot at Penta's belt. However, it should be noted that Gable has respect for Penta, even teaming up with for a tag team match recently against Ethan Page and Rusev.

According to a recent report by WrestleVotes on Fightful, Chad Gable and Penta will face off in the first hour of SummerSlam. If that is indeed the case, fans will be able to see an intense match to start off the PLE.

According to Chad Gable, he has proven himself to be talented enough to be given a title shot at one of the top titles in the Stamford-based promotion.

Speaking on The Hot Tag, Gable stated that he wants to continue his momentum to reach the top of the totem pole.

For now, only time will tell how succesful Chad Gable will be in his endeavour.
