English songwriter-singer Ellie Goulding is reportedly going to do a special performance at half-time of the England-Norway 2026 FIFA World Cup quarter-final in Miami tonight (July 11).

The Three Lions are coming off a 3-2 Round of 16 win over co-hosts Mexico at Mexico City on Monday (July 5). Jude Bellingham (two) and captain Harry Kane were among the goals as Thomas Tuchel's side held on to a 3-2 lead for 21 minutes with 10 men.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are in unchartered territory, reaching the quarter-finals for the first time by beating five-time champions Brazil 2-1, thanks to Erling Haaland scoring twice in the final quarter, with Neymar Junior's stoppage time penalty being a consolation strike.

Ahead of the blockbuster clash in Miami, Madrid Xtra has reported that Goulding will perform at half-time.

Thomas Tuchel's side are into their third straight quarter-final at the FIFA World Cup, winning one (Russia 2018) before losing 2-1 to eventual finalists France four years later in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Stale Solbakken's Norway - playing their first World Cup in 28 years - finished behind France in the group stage before seeing off Cote d'Ivoire and Brazil in successive knockout games.

England head coach Thomas Tuchel is taking one game at a time and isn't resting on past laurels as his side prepare to take on a red-hot Norway side for a place in the semi-finals next week.

The Three Lions produced one of their best World Cup performances in recent memory as they combated the challenge of playing in high-altitude Mexico City and with 10 men for more than half an hour to reach the last eight.

The Three Lions have lost two of their last three competitive clashes with the Vikings as they look to reach their second FIFA World Cup semi-final in three appearances.
