Argentina will have a chance to defend its FIFA World Cup crown after it beat England in their semifinal match at the Atlanta Stadium on Wednesday.

After a cagey first half, England took the lead after Anthony Gordon found the back of the net from close range after reaching a cross from Morgan Rogers in the 55th minute.

Enzo Fernandez started the comeback in the 85th minute with a strike from outside the box after receiving the ball from Lionel Messi.

With momentum on its side, Argentina took the lead in the second minute of added time after substitute Lautaro Martinez headed the ball in from close range after meeting a right-footed cross from Messi.

The defending champion will take on Spain in the final on July 19 at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.
