Former NFL Pro Bowler Marcellus Wiley was arrested in Orlando last week on misdemeanor domestic battery charges by his wife, Annemarie Wiley. She filed for divorce after the former NFL star's arrest.

Annemarie, who has been married to Marcellus for 12 years, reported an escalating pattern of abuse, multiple instances of sexual assault dating back to 2012 in her accusations.

Former NFL star turned analyst Emmanuel Acho reflected on the controversy in the latest episode of the "Speakeasy" podcast.

Acho also slammed Annemarie for involving their three children in the lawsuit. She has also requested legal and physical custody of their children.

Marcellus Wiley denied the allegations after he was released from Orange County Jail on a $1,000 bond. He said in an X post that his "highest priority" is to protect their children amid the legal drama.

Marcellus shares three children, Marcellus Jr. (10 years old), Ariya (seven years old) and Alivia (six years old), with his wife.
