A popular AEW star has recently discussed the idea of a former Bloodline member officially joining the promotion. They felt that he would be a great fit anywhere, but may thrive if he becomes All Elite.

Jeff Cobb (FKA JC Mateo) is known for his work in Lucha Underground and NJPW. Last year, he made his WWE debut as a member of Solo Sikoa's faction, which was later rebranded to "MFT". He was part of the mass releases by the promotion in early May, leaving his tenure with the promotion to be at just under a year.

During his recent interview on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Mark Davis was asked about Cobb and whether he would be a great signing for AEW. He mentioned how he was the type of wrestler who would thrive in any environment. He seemed to like the idea of the two of them being in the same company.

A few years ago, both Davis and Jeff Cobb were members of United Empire, and now that the latter will be a free agent soon, they could reunite again. Cobb has not competed in a match for the Tony Khan-led company since Forbidden Door 2024.

Mark Davis, on the other hand, has been on a great run after taking the National Championship from Jack Perry. His run as one of the major members of the Don Callis Family has been arguably one of the best of his career, as he has thrived as a singles competitor.

Unfortunately, last night at Redemption, his biggest challenge came. Andrade El Idolo proved to be quite the challenger, and he ended up taking the belt away from him.

Davis is no longer a champion, and the Don Callis Family has one less championship belt within their ranks. Andrade's goal of taking all their titles away from them may become a reality.
