A former WWE champion has taken shots at MJF shortly after the Salt of the Earth lost his AEW World Championship on Dynamite: Beach Break.
A monumental title change occurred at Dynamite: Beach Break this Wednesday night, as MJF dropped the AEW World Title to Kenny Omega after a brutal encounter. Omega, who won the championship for the first time in nearly five years, overcame a major stipulation that would have barred him from challenging for the title again if he had lost. Nonetheless, the Cleaner is the new AEW World Champion, and he recently received a congratulatory message from former WWE United States and NXT champion Andrade. That said, El Idolo also had something in store for MJF.
On X, Andrade reshared AEW's post featuring Kenny Omega's winning moment against Friedman. In his caption, the Mexican star congratulated the Cleaner and also included an NSFW message for MJF. For those who need a refresher, Andrade and Big Hebrew do not see eye to eye.
His post can be seen below:
At 36, Andrade El Ídolo is a bona fide veteran of the wrestling industry and has competed for some of the biggest promotions. More recently, the former NXT champion has been making appearances in New Japan Pro Wrestling and has even held the IWGP Global Heavyweight title. The Mexican star shared his thoughts on wrestling in Japan during a recent appearance on Justin Barrasso's Undisputed. El Idolo said the country reminds him of his hunger for wrestling when he began.
It will be interesting to see what the future will hold for Andrade in All Elite Wrestling.
