Three members of a family, including a father and his two children, were found dead inside a rented flat in Bahadurgarh on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the locality.

    The deceased has been identified as Sunil, a property dealer and driver originally from Khudana village in Mahendragarh district. Sunil’s body was found hanging, indicating a suspected case of suicide. The family resided in the Hari Nagar area in Bahadurgarh’s Line Par locality.

    According to preliminary information, Sunil’s wife had gone to her parental home. Sunil had reportedly returned to the flat on Monday after telling relatives that his wife was expected to come back soon.

    The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when a relative visited the flat after Sunil failed to answer repeated phone calls. Upon entering the flat, the relative found the bodies and immediately alerted the local police.

    The police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. A forensic team also inspected the scene and collected evidence from the apartment.

    Police have launched an investigation, while the exact circumstances and cause of the deaths are yet to be ascertained.

    Police are currently questioning family members to ascertain the circumstances leading to the deaths. Further investigation is under way.
