Day 1 of the Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Fall Play-Ins was held on July 20, 2026, with Group A playing six matches. The six best performers from the group have secured their spots in the Group Stage, while the bottom six were eliminated from this Free Fire Max event. A total of 83 teams, seeded into seven groups, are playing in the Play-Ins for 42 spots in the Group Stage.
Team Elite, an experienced squad, performed remarkably in Group A and scored 142 points in six matches. The team clinched two Booyahs and 98 eliminations. They won their first Booyah in the third match with 40 points after playing aggressively. The roster claimed its second win in the fifth game with 41 points.
NXT Esports also had an impressive run in the FFMIC Fall Play-Ins, as the side earned second place with 135 points and two Booyahs and secured 82 eliminations in six encounters. The squad registered its first victory in the second game with 32 points and emerged victorious in the sixth game with 29 points.
Fireyes Glory finished third with 115 points, adorned with one Booyah and 68 eliminations. 4Forever Exports came fourth with 97 points despite not winning any Booyah in six games. Gaming Walla and TNMA RHP were fifth and sixth with 77 and 71 points, respectively. These seven best teams acquired a spot in the Group Stage.
Mafiabala missed out on a spot in the next stage by a small margin of eight points. The team ranked seventh with 63 points, including 37 eliminations. Team Tufan and KID Esports were eighth and ninth with 55 and 53 points, respectively.
HN Elite came 10th with 51 points, including 29 eliminations. RG Gamers Esports ended up in 11th place with 39 points. Slayer was in the last spot with 37 points after performing poorly in the FFMIC 2026 Play-Ins.
Group B will take part in its six matches of the Play-Ins on July 21, 2026. The Group Stage of the tournament will begin on August 6, featuring 42 teams from the Play-Ins and the top six teams of the FFMIC 2026 Spring.
