The winners of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final between Spain and Argentina in New York/ New Jersey on June 19 will receive NFL Super Bowl-style championship rings.
FIFA’s statement said that the championship rings brings “one of the most recognisable American sporting traditions to the global game.”
The players from the victorious team will be awarded 30 rings while the remaining 1,996 will be available for purchase for fans worldwide.
One side of these rings will feature the FIFA World Cup trophy while the other side will be customised based on the winning team.

“Immediately after the final, the captain and head coach of the winning team will receive temporary rings to commemorate the occasion. Each of the 30 rings for the winners will then be customised before being officially presented at a later date,” the statement added.
Argentina is looking to become the first nation to win back-to-back World Cup titles for the first time since Brazil in 1958 and 1962.
Spain could maintain its 100 per cent record in World Cup finals with a win. The country’s golden generation had won its first title in 2010.
