Fans on social media have reacted after Spain became the 2026 FIFA World Cup champions following their 1-0 win over Argentina. The Spaniard outclassed the Argentines, dominated proceedings, and got their winning goal through Ferran Torres in extra time (108').
During the encounter, Lamine Yamal came close to giving La Roja the lead five minutes into the game. However, Emiliano Martinez was equal to the task and pulled off a great save to deny the teenager.

In 99 minutes on the pitch, Rodri delivered a passing accuracy of 95% (101/106). He delivered two key passes, registered four tackles and won eight out of 10 ground duels contested.
