Ford Business Solutions (FBS) India, the global capability centre of Ford Motor, inaugurated a new office in Coimbatore on Wednesday (July 8) at SVB Tech Park with seating for nearly 800 people.

A press release from FBS said the 82,000 sq.ft. facility, occupying three floors at the SVB Tech Park, is its third location in India, as it has a Global Technology and Business Centre in Chennai and a Technology Incubation Centre in Bengaluru. The new centre, which was inaugurated by Minister for Industries S. Keerthana, will primarily house members of teams serving accounting and Ford Credit and Business Operations.

Gangapriya Chakraverti, India site head and managing director, Ford Business Solutions, said: “We have had team members from this city working for us for some time now, and seen first hand, the strength of the talent pool here. Coimbatore has also grown into a vibrant, thriving business hub, and we wanted to build a presence in a city that has so much to offer.”

FBS India’s teams are leading Ford’s technology and business transformation, providing tech-driven solutions and services that power every division of Ford Motor Company, the press release said.
