The Los Angeles Galaxy signed free agent forward ​Robert Taylor of Finland ‌on Wednesday.

    The 31-year-old is under contract ​through the ⁠2026 season with an option through December 2027.

    Taylor was waived last ‌month by Austin FC after contributing two ‌assists in two games ‌this ⁠season. He joins a ⁠squad that sits in ninth place in the Western Conference and ​owns 22 ‌goals in 15 matches, which ranks Los Angeles 20th in goals per game ‌among MLS’ 30 teams.

    “We ​are excited to welcome Robert to the ⁠Galaxy family,” Galaxy general manager Will Kuntz said. “He brings ‌versatility and a wealth of experience in MLS and will be a great addition to our locker room.”

    Taylor had 18 ‌goals and 18 assists in ​116 appearances with Inter Miami (2022-25) and added ⁠one goal and one assist ⁠in 24 games with Austin (2025-26). He helped the ‌Herons win the Leagues Cup in 2023 and ​the Supporters’ Shield in 2024.
