Paralympic officials on Friday approved the venue masterplan for the 2030 Winter Games, scheduled to be held in the French Alps.
“The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Governing Board approved the Alpes 2030 Paralympic Winter Games venue masterplan at a meeting in Bonn, Germany,” the body said in a statement.
“Since July 2025, the Alpes 2030 Organising Committee has been reviewing its Paralympic venue masterplan, first presented as part of its bid in 2024.”

The IPC said the revised plan was accepted because of its “reduced complexity” and improved athlete experience.
The Paralympics will be organised around three competition clusters: La Clusaz, Courchevel and Lyon.
La Clusaz will host the Nordic skiing events, while Courchevel will stage alpine skiing and snowboarding. Ice hockey and curling will take place in Lyon.
Last month, the International Olympic Committee approved changes to the 2030 Olympics venue masterplan, which is still awaiting final approval.
