WWE star Gunther recently shocked fans by putting his hands on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Judging by The Ring General's recent post on social media, he does not appear to be remorseful about his actions.

Gunther took it upon himself to demand a resolution regarding his status on SmackDown from Aldis. However, Aldis had other ideas, choosing to pit Cody Rhodes against CM Punk with the Undisputed WWE title at stake. He also scheduled a tag team match for The Ring General at Saturday Night's Main Event, where he would be teaming up with Sami Zayn to take on Rhodes and Punk.

Gunther was not happy with the decision and attacked Aldis. It was only after Cody Rhodes appeared on the scene to stop the assault that The Ring General walked away.

Taking to Instagram, The Ring General shared a video of the attack. He stated that this is how fans should deal with authority figures when needed. The video had him saying in the end:

According to an exclusive report from Sportskeeda, the Stamford-based promotion has big plans for the Austrian star in the near future.

The report claimed that sources from inside the company have hinted at a major storyline for The Ring General in the works.
